Labour Law

Labour law is a critical area of our legal practice, and we have extensive experience in advising both employers and employees on their rights and obligations under the UAE labour laws.

Dubai is a rapidly growing city with a dynamic and diverse workforce. As such, there are various labour laws in place to protect the rights of workers and ensure fair treatment in the workplace. The free zones in the UAE ( for example DIFC, DMCC or ADGM) have their own authorities that regulate labour matters within the free zone. These authorities typically have their own employment regulations, visa and immigration procedures, and dispute resolution mechanisms. Employers operating within a free zone must comply with the labour regulations and procedures established by the free zone authority. Our team of labour law experts can provide guidance on all aspects of labour law, including employment contracts, working hours, leave entitlements, termination of employment, and dispute resolution.

We work closely with employers to ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations, drafting and reviewing employment contracts and policies, and providing advice on managing workplace issues. We also provide legal representation in labour disputes, such as unfair dismissal claims and discrimination complaints.
